How to Update Google Chrome in Desktop/Android

Chrome is an amazingly fast and free browser, from Google. I personally prefer using Chrome over Safari and Firefox, because of availability of thousands of plugins to choose from, easy to use developer options and the main plus point of using Chrome is that I get extra security from the search giant Google. Google automatically warns me when I try opening spam or infected websites. I rarely get this sort of security in other browsers, until I manually make use of antivirus plugins.
Well, All I want to say is that I love surfing web with Google Chrome, and I recommend you too to start using it, if you still haven’t. I bet you’ll not regret.
I was just playing around. If you weren’t using Google chrome as your browser, why would you have bothered reading this post. Okay, let’s get to the point here. This quick guide shows how you can update Google Chrome in your desktop or Android device.

UPDATE GOOGLE CHROME IN DESKTOP

While you’re in Windows or Mac, simply click on the stack icon (that says, Customize and control Google Chrome) besides URL bar, and visit Help and About > About Google Chrome.
In next windows, Chrome will automatically check for updates.
You can also directly visit this settings page by entering chrome://chrome/ in the URL bar.
Mac users can also update google chrome by visiting Chrome (from the menu bar) > About Google Chrome. This takes you to the same page where Chrome checks for updates availability.

UPDATE GOOGLE CHROME ON ANDROID DEVICES

If you’ve installed Google Chrome on your Android device and want to update it to the latest version, you can do that using the play store.
Open Play Store app and make sure you’re logged in with your Gmail account. Tap on the menu (stack icon) to bring a list of options and select My apps. You can also slide your finger from left corner of the screen to bring this menu.
Now find Google Chrome from the updates available apps list. In the next window tap on UPDATE button and confirm your update decision.
Update will be automatically downloaded and installed on your Android device.

GOOGLE DOODLE : HOLI FESTIVAL 2017 | गुगल डुडल : होली पर्ब फागुपूर्णिमा २०१७

Today, on the Auspicious occasion of HOLI FESTIVAL you can find a fresh set of colors of HOLI on GOOGLE's LETTERS. In celebration of any major festivals of any country Google prepares a doodle on its letters. So here is one for holi festival.

Holi is national festival of Nepal and also celebrated widely over India. Holi is a Hindu festival celebrated together by people of all religions and cast over Nepal and India. It brings people together with celebration of Colors, water and feasts.

With the doodle there is also a short article written describing the festival, next section is for the 'Doodle's Reach'. This shows where doodle is visible as default view. And lastly there is a section 'This Day in History'.  This section highlights the events that has occurred on same day in history and available doodle made by Googl.e

GOOGLE DOODLE has made doodles for Education Day, Republican Day, Democracy Day and many major festivals and memorable days of Nepal. Not only for Nepal but there are doodles for every countries.

Google Translate TTS : Text to speech in Nepali Language (टेक्स्ट टु स्पीच यीन नेपाली)

Google has recently released another feature in Google Translate for Nepali Language i.e. TTS(Text to Seech). Now on you can listen the Nepali pronunciation of any words that can be translated in Nepali Language.

This feature was previously available for most of other languages. While Nepali Language didn't have enough resource( which is obviously proper and meaningful dataset that could be processed). 

In order to hear the words that you type you can simply go to translate.google.com type in a word in your desired language and translate it to Nepali. Below the translated word you can find a speaker button. Just press it and you will hear the voice from Google.

GOOGLE SPACES WILL SHUT DOWN ON 17th APRIL 2017




Google initially launched SPACE with its goal of creating a better small-group sharing experience on May 16, 2016. The stable release was also launched on same month. Space was made available on Android, ios, Mac and Windows. Space is a proprietary product from Google.

Google is going to out shadow this product which couldn't make its fame among its customers. It is an application for group chat and all of us are familiar with famous chatting applications like Messenger, Skype, Viber, WeChat and SnapChat. Even though being a huge tech giant Google failed to establish this product. This is why it will be shut down on 17th April, 2017.

Here are some important details for SPACE users:

Spaces will be read-only on March 3rd:This means you can't create new spaces, posts or comments. Also, new invitations can't be sent, and new members can't be added to spaces.

Between now and April 17th, you can: 
See, save, print, and delete your content. Delete any spaces you created, leave any spaces you joined, and remove people from your spaces. Report abuse in Spaces, and block other Spaces users. 

After April 17th, 2017:
Spaces and their content will be deleted.
